Logistic Managers analyze and coordinate an organization鈥檚 supply chain 鈥� the system that moves a product from supplier to consumer. They manage the entire life cycle of a product, which includes how a product is acquired, distributed, allocated, and delivered. Logistics are used in nearly every industry.

  • Explain the impact of logistics and supply chain operations on a firm's profitability, identifying the steps necessary to evaluate and purchase a new product or service, as well as complete a project plan, basic budget, and presentation.
  • Explain the role of transportation and identify the resources needed for domestic and global transactions and shipments.
